State Workforce Board Proposal Listening Session

Workforce Development is critical to New Mexico’s economic recovery from the pandemic for businesses and individuals, alike. The New Mexico Chamber of Commerce’s own business-led plan for economic development demands we prepare the workforce we need to drive the state forward.

As business leaders in New Mexico, we need your voice to help the State Workforce Board move forward with a plan to restructure the state’s workforce system from one of the worst performing in the country, to one that is growing and thriving and meeting the needs of both current business and economic development initiatives.

We invite you, or key staff members to join members of the State Workforce Board, the Department of Workforce Solutions, and your peers around the state for a conversation to explore what restructuring our system could do to help our businesses attract, grow, and train talented staff in strong workforce pipelines.

Without your voice and input, we’ll continue to struggle to truly align our talent pipelines and build the 21st Century workforce we all need.
