The mountains are calling… meet us in the Rockies!

Join us for the New Mexico Chamber of Commerce's Annual Membership Retreat in Taos, New Mexico for cornhole, networking and engaging in policy discussions! This will be a retreat like you’ve never experienced before.

Our retreat will kick off with a panel discussion and lunch on Thursday, June 16 at The Blake. Following that, we will be hosting our first ever cornhole tournament at the ice rink (minus the ice, of course)! The evening will feature a reception and dinner. Additional policy and local industry presentations will be held Friday, June 17 at The Blake with breakfast and lunch provided.

The innovation ecosystem panel discussion will have a mix of experts who will discuss the various aspects of a vibrant, interdependent start-up environment and what is needed to support an entrepreneur moving from concept to a $20 million annual revenue company. The goal of the discussion will be to help identify areas of opportunity and growth for New Mexico that will empower our innovators to create jobs and opportunities in the Land of Enchantment.

The housing panel will look at policies at the national, state and local levels as we discuss ways to diversify our housing stock in New Mexico in a way that that enables growth, attracts talent, and enhances the overall quality of life. The panel will discuss best practices from around the country, as well as look at opportunities and challenges here in New Mexico.

The water panel will discuss the role of corporate partnerships in building near-term and long-term water resilience. We will examine some unique projects here in New Mexico that are working to enhance water efficiency and sustainability.

2022 Annual Membership Retreat Agenda
