2021 Annual Membership Retreat
It is time to get back in the swing of things! Literally, come swing a golf club with us! Join us for the New Mexico Chamber of Commerce's annual membership retreat in Las Cruces, New Mexico for golf, networking and engaging in policy and best practice discussions – in person!
The NMCC staff will be following all necessary guidelines and taking precautions to ensure the health and safety of our members. We want you to feel comfortable, if you have any concerns please do not hesitate to reach out to our staff.
Our retreat will kick off with our annual golf tournament at 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 14 at New Mexico State University Golf Course. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided. The evening will feature a reception and dinner at Hotel Encanto. Additional policy and local industry presentations will be held Friday, October 15 at Hotel Encanto with breakfast and lunch provided.

COVID-19
The New Mexico Chamber of Commerce strongly encourages all New Mexicans to get vaccinated to stop the spread of COVID-19. We are committed to our members’ health and after careful consideration, we have determined that the safest course of action for in-person events are for participants to be fully vaccinated to attend. We understand that Pfizer was only recently approved by the FDA, and we are not mandating the vaccine for our Annual Membership Retreat. However, after the October retreat we will require future in-person event attendees and staff to be vaccinated.
By requiring individuals to be vaccinated for our events, we are decreasing the risk of infection and hospitalization. All staff and event attendees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, as defined by the CDC (i.e., at least two weeks since receiving the Johnson & Johnson shot or the second Moderna or Pfizer shot). We will require all attendees to sign a COVID-19 vaccine attestation at the time of any in-person events confirming health and vaccination status.
