The New Mexico Association of Commerce and Industry (ACI) will conduct a series of community visits within a couple weeks’ time, in what the organization calls its “FOCUS Tour.” ACI will tour the state to meet with the businesspeople and community leaders of more than a dozen communities. At each stop, ACI will present its interim policy agenda, a working document that directs the organization’s legislative work during the year, and particularly during each legislative session. ACI will seek feedback on what have been identified as the policy priorities, but more importantly, ACI will seek input about what might be each community’s most pressing concerns that can be addressed through ACI’s policy committees, which will meet later in the fall.
